Everybody has their own story.  The Staff of Inter-Space Freight Systems, Ltd. have histories and adventures of their own.  Like a pebble casting ripples in a pond, each member affects others whether they know it or not.

Mason McMurtry who knows the lives of his human and alien crew are worth more than the best ships.

Chug Tormund had a tough life. So now life owes him.  It just doesn't seem to work out that way though.

Dingus Donogal only worked when the money ran out. His poems and stories just weren't enough.

Jedediah Hart is the eccentric founder and CEO of ISFS.  Was he crazy?  Or crazy like a fox?

MaryLiz Godard had everything.  Then she was arrested and left destitute by those she least expected.

Kayleigh and Jace suffered at the hands of terrorists.  Then they encountered the worst horror of all.

Tales from Inter-Space Freight Systems, Ltd. - Sweetness

The crusty Captain of a small freighter and her Ericusian crew member only want another job to pay for fuel, supplies, and a smooth jump to the next star system.  But sharks are out there. Whether armed with cannons and missiles or illegible contracts and conditions, they keep getting in the way of smooth runs.  Why does saving the Universe have to keep getting in the way?

SPECIAL NOTE:  A recent change by my publisher prohibits offering Sweetness as a free eBook.  I will continue to investigate ways to promote Sweetness with book sites.

The Dark Razor

Don had retired on his own terms.  But even in the far reaches of the Galaxy, one's past has a way of catching up.  Anonymity isn't always possible when the people and places of that past seem to never leave you alone.  That was especially true of Enforcers, or independent assassins.  No matter how much you change your career, your looks, and your "official" background, the past is never guaranteed to be your friend.

Donrazor Landfall is an independent inter-stellar freight hauler. But his simple new life as a freighter Captain changes when he meets someone from his past. He always said, "Only the Dead can be trusted," and this woman was dead. She admitted it freely.

Razor's Path - Book 2 in the Dark Razor Saga

The only peace retired Enforcers usually find is the peace of Death.  Donrazor Landfall refuses to accept that fate.  Freight runs through the cold of space provide relative safety from his lethal past and the secret war he'd been pulled into.  But those trips yield no sustenance to a spirit starved for something more.

The Mortuus have withdrawn, telling him not to seek Mura who awakened something inside he'd thought long dead.  Cryptic advice from people he trusts the most abounds with risk.  They can't understand how following it could ultimately lead to his end as with so many others of his former profession.

Then he accepts an unusual assignment.  One that brings him face-to-face with the only other woman from his past who now holds the power to shatter his safe life among the stars or to fill the void that plagues his soul.
